Cleansing with zero irritation: the magic of gentle surfactants
Non-ionic surfactants are like tiny particles that break down dirt and remove impurities, but in a gentle, skin-respectful way—without disrupting the skin barrier. That means they’re mild and don’t leave that uncomfortable tight, squeaky-clean feeling.
That’s how Brisa is formulated. With very specific surfactants that create a creamy, non-irritating foam. This way, we make sure you get that comfort we love so much—and that feels good on every skin type, even the driest and most sensitive.

Our commitment to more conscious beauty: upcycling
At Saigu, sustainability is one of our top priorities, and the most innovative thing in this area is upcycling. This word combines the English terms upgrade (update) and recycling. It’s an enhanced version of recycling where, instead of destroying waste to recreate it, creative ways to give it a second life are explored.
For example, something that the agri-food industry treats as waste can still be used by the cosmetics industry for its wonderful properties—maybe they won’t feed our stomachs, but they’re gold for our skin.
At Saigu, we choose not to throw ingredients away, but to give them a new life.
This means that even though the agri-food industry generates hundreds of by-products, instead of throwing them away, we give them a second life.
That’s how we like to move toward a more mindful, sustainable kind of beauty—one that makes the most of every resource and champions cosmetics in complete harmony with nature.

How to use Brisa
Use this cleansing gel in both your morning and evening routine. As the second step of double cleansing or as the only cleanser in your morning routine.
STEP 1
Dispense one ‘pump’ of Brisa into your wet hands and gently massage onto damp skin until a light foam forms.
STEP 2
Rinse with plenty of warm water until the product is completely removed.
STEP 3
Pat your skin dry with a soft towel using gentle presses. Voilà! Ready to continue with the rest of your facial skincare routine.
Questions you might have about Brisa
What exactly is double cleansing?
These are the first two steps of your facial routine, and the foundation of any skincare regimen. If your skin isn’t clean, it doesn’t matter how many products or ingredients you apply afterwards—they won’t be effective. We explain it better in this guide.
Does it remove waterproof makeup?
This cleansing gel isn’t designed to remove makeup. Makeup is usually oil-based, so to take it off you’ll need a different kind of product, like Calma.
What’s the difference between this cleansing gel and the Calma cleansing oil?
Both products deeply cleanse the skin, but each works differently and plays an important role in double cleansing. Calma cleansing oil removes makeup residue, excess sebum, and products like sunscreen. The cleansing gel removes dirt, impurities, pollution, and dead skin cells.
Can Brisa be my only facial cleanser?
Yes, it can be your only step as long as your skin isn’t wearing makeup or sunscreen. If you want a deep cleanse that melts away makeup and cleanses and purifies the skin, use Calma first and then Brisa.
My skin is very dry—would this gel be recommended for me?
Yes! We’ve used ultra-gentle surfactants that won’t disrupt your skin barrier or leave it feeling tight and stripped. The foam is super soft, and once you rinse it off, your skin will feel supple and hydrated.
