Is this a neutral palette that’s suitable for beginners?
It’s made up of 12 shades of pink selected carefully to make sure they’ll suit anyone, no matter their skin or eye colour. These eyeshadows are super easy to blend, so you won’t need to be an expert on makeup techniques to get flattering results quickly.
Are the matte shades very powdery?
The matte and metallic shades are the perfect middle ground. Not too much, not too little. Just right. That’s because the more powdery an eyeshadow is, the more fallout can end up sprinkled beneath your eyes. But if it’s too compact, it’s difficult to blend and integrate. For best results, gently remove any excess powder before lifting the brush to your eyelid.
Do the glitter shades need to be applied in a specific way?
As their particles are more visible, there might be a little fallout when you apply them to your lids. Pick up a small amount with your finger and apply it to your eyelids by dabbing softly, creating thin layers. We recommend you make up your eyes first so you can remove any shadow that might end up on your face in the process. If your face is already made up, apply these eyeshadows with a primer designed for use with loose pigments, or protect your under-eye area with a tissue.
What’s the difference between the metallic eyeshadows and the glitter ones?
The metallic eyeshadows have a uniform base colour offering good coverage, with a metallic gleam, and their satiny finish is delicate and subtle. The glitter eyeshadows have a subtle base in a semi-translucent colour, with ultra-shiny sparkles offering a glamorous, sophisticated finish.
If my eyelids are greasy, will these eyeshadows last?
The durability is very high, but if you have greasy eyelids you’ll need to use a primer with this palette, as you would with any palette :)
What type of brush should I apply them with?
There are countless kinds of brushes for eye makeup: for primer, for blending, angled ones for eyeliner... At Saigu we don’t sell them, but we have friends that do. We use all the brushes in the RAWGE range to apply makeup at the Saigu Lab, and they’re fantastic. And they’re vegan!
How do I clean the packaging?
The best way to keep the packaging clean and disinfect it is to use a little alcohol, and clean it with the help of a cloth or a wet wipe that doesn’t leave any textile residue.
