All Saigu products are formulated with non-comedogenic ingredients, meaning they won’t clog pores. Saigu’s liquid foundation is also enriched with jojoba oil, known for its sebum-regulating properties. That said, oily skin often needs a touch of mattifying with translucent powder to keep excess shine at bay. If that’s you, we recommend checking out our velvet-effect powders enriched with hyaluronic acid to set, mattify, and leave a silky finish.

This foundation includes dual-action hydrating hyaluronic acid and olive oil in its formula to help keep your skin supple, hydrated, and nourished throughout the day. On top of that, olive oil is packed with antioxidants that help slow down skin aging. It’s also enriched with jojoba oil and vitamin E. This foundation won’t emphasize dry patches—thanks to its hydrating actives, it helps smooth them instead.

We formulate with ingredients that are as gentle and skin-friendly as possible, thinking especially of the most sensitive and reactive skin types. Even so, some people are allergic to very specific compounds (like peach skin, soy, or derivatives) and even in tiny amounts (such as traces of heavy metals that occur in nature).

That’s why we can’t guarantee you won’t have any kind of reaction. But you can check the products’ INCI list, or patch test it on your forearm for a day and then on your neck to make sure it’s safe for you. Remember: if it causes any allergic reaction, you can return the product even if it’s been opened.

It’s important to keep a few little things in mind when you try it on.

The foundation may come out looking a bit lighter at first, but once you blend it into the face (if it’s your shade) it will adapt beautifully. The best place to check is the area between your face and your neck: a small amount is enough—just blend well. What we want to see is whether there’s a noticeable line between those two areas.
